I began teaching lifesaving skills in 2007 and have spent nearly two decades helping people feel confident and prepared to respond in an emergency.

My background is rooted in aquatics, safety, and risk management. I began as a lifeguard and moved into leadership roles managing aquatic safety teams, training lifeguards, and eventually serving as a Lifeguard Instructor Faculty Trainer. As my career progressed, I moved into broader safety and risk management roles, helping teams develop emergency procedures, strengthen preparedness, and regularly train staff to respond effectively in real emergencies.

Through those experiences, I discovered that the part of my work I loved most was training and developing others. After stepping away from the workforce for a few years while my children were young, I returned to that passion by founding Pasco CPR & First Aid Training.

Today, I provide CPR, AED, First Aid, BLS, babysitter, youth safety, and emergency preparedness training throughout Pasco County and the greater Tampa Bay area. Much of my work is mobile, bringing training directly to businesses and organizations, while community classes make hands on training accessible to individuals and families.

My Approach to Training

My goal is never simply to help someone earn a certification. I want you to leave training actually feeling confident, capable, and prepared to act when it matters most.

My classes are hands on, practical, and focused on real life situations because I believe people learn best by doing. While I hope no one I train ever has to use these skills, some of the most rewarding moments of my career have been hearing from former students who faced an emergency and felt calm and prepared because they knew what to do.

A Little About Me

Outside of training, I’m a mom of three and an active volunteer with my daughters’ schools and Girl Scout troop. Our family loves spending time outdoors, hiking, camping, exploring new places, and simply being active together. I also enjoy working out whenever I can squeeze it into the chaos of running a business and raising three kids.

Pasco County is home for my family, which makes it especially meaningful to build a business that helps the families, workplaces, and organizations in our own community feel safer and better prepared.
