Building confident kids through real-world safety skills.
Rescue Ready Kids is a youth safety and emergency preparedness workshop series created by Pasco CPR & First Aid Training to help children develop the confidence and practical skills they need to respond when it matters most.
Designed for children ages 7–10, each 90-minute workshop focuses on a specific safety topic through engaging, age-appropriate activities, role-playing, games, and hands-on practice. Rather than overwhelming children with too much information at once, each class dives deeper into one important topic, allowing families to build skills over time.
Whether a child is home with a parent, grandparent, babysitter, or another trusted adult, emergencies can happen unexpectedly. Rescue Ready Kids helps children recognize emergencies, stay calm, know when to call 911, and understand how they can safely help until an adult or emergency responder arrives.
• Recognizing different types of emergencies
• Knowing when to call 911 versus getting a trusted adult
• Building confidence during stressful situations
• Hands-Only CPR awareness and practice
• AED awareness
• Basic first aid concepts
• Home safety and emergency planning
• Leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills
• How to stay calm and be prepared when emergencies happen
These are educational, confidence-building workshops and are not certification courses.
